Route Planning
Simple one click waypoint enables routes to be easily built and edited. Tidal data and vessel information enables passage time and course to steer to be calculated. Unlimited routes may be saved, refused and recalculated.

Instrument Interfacing
Depending on the system level used, data from up to 10 instruments can be interfaced. The system recognizes the standard NEMA data protocol.

Instrument Display and Logging
Incoming instrument data, such as that from a GPS, may be recorded in the log. This data is also displayed in the instrument repeater panel at the side of the screen. Your vessel's position is also shown on the chart using a boat icon, and vessel track can be displayed.

Fully Detailed Vector Charts
Vector charts contain layers of information, allowing the user to switch off layers in order to remove unwanted data from the screen and create an uncluttered view. All charts are fully detailed, containing the same data as their paper counterparts.

Chart Display
The user may choose from full screen or dual screen chart display. The latter divides the screen in two, allowing different charts to be shown for planning or route monitoring. A simple mouse click will enable switching between these two display options.

Tidal Information
Tidal height information for ports worldwide may graphically be entered and indicated on the tidal curve. By selecting the "currents" option, tidal stream data will be displayed on the chart indicating direction and rate of flow.

Chart Access
The CD that is included in the box contains an entire world chart collection. Individual charts or folios of charts may be accessed from the CD with the use of an unlock code. This gives instant access to the charts required. Chart unlock codes may be purchased from your dealer.
